MoneySavingExpert.com has successfully lobbied for millions of consumers to get redress for mis-sold payment protection insurance and bank charges, to tighten regulation of payday loans, to get financial education in schools and much more. We’re proud of our campaigning stance – it’s us 'fighting your corner'.
For example, within energy we have introduced the Cheap Energy Club, which tells you if you’re overpaying or not and monitors this positon as the market changes. We have also continued our programme of successful collective switches, where consumers sign up to a one-off switch, which have produced market-leading tariffs each time.
Started following your tips at new year, so far I have slashed my sky bill, gained £150 and a better bank by switching, saved £80 a month on credit card - Savings total so far - £1300.
