Senior Management

- Alan Cairns Biog Human Resources Director

Alan joined the Group in December 2007 as Human Resources Director. Alan has over 20 years' experience in International Human Resource management gained across Alstom, RHM, JCB, GE, Exide Technologies, Penauille Servisair and Littlewoods. Professionally qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Alan holds two Post Graduate Diplomas in Human Resource Management (Manchester Metropolitan University).

Ian joined the Group in June 2008 as the Communications Director. Prior to joining the Group, Ian was Joint Managing Director at Lansons Communications, one of the UK’s largest independent public relations consultancies. Whilst at Lansons, Ian helped to plan and implement the launch of moneysupermarket.com in 1999.

Tobias joined the Group on 1 July 2009 as Managing Director, Money. Tobias was previously head of retail banking (Europe) at Anglo Irish Bank between 2008 and 2009, head of UK retail banking and UK Marketing Director at Citigroup and Egg between 2005 and 2008 and held various positions at Egg and strategy consulting firm Monitor Company before that.

Annie O'Grady joined the Group as its chief technology officer with effect from 1st February. Annie takes responsibility for leading the Group's 180 strong IT team and delivering its ambitious and challenging development programme. Annie is a member of the Group's executive management board. Annie joined the Group from McDonalds UK where she was interim CIO. Before that her career includes four years as group IT director at EMAP and senior IT roles at Punch Taverns, BBC Technology and IBM. She holds an MBA from Henley and has degrees in both Systems Engineering and Accounting.
