New role for travelsupermarket.com MD

Thursday, November 1, 2007: Chris Nixon, managing director of travelsupermarket.com today announces he is to change role.
He has taken the decision to concentrate on the commercial development of the travel business and recruit a replacement managing director to oversee the strategic expansion of the company.
He said: “Due to the rapid expansion of the travel business and so many more challenges we have in the pipeline, I feel I need to focus my strengths on the areas of the company which I can have the biggest impact on, those being the commercial input and development.
“The success of travelsupermarket.com and the speed of growth, together with the ambitious plans for the future I feel means that we need someone in the managing director’s role with international experience at senior level.”
Chris will remain acting managing director until a successor is found, after which he will take up the full-time role of commercial director for travelsupermarket.com.
